Are you STILL using those old pumps?

10% of the world’s electricity is used to turn pumps.

And 50% of this is wasted.

I have been banging on about this since the year 2000.

Buying new pumps is cheap. Running them for 10 years is very expensive.

Example. Take a 10kw pump. Run it for 10 years at 10 hours per day. And let’s say 1 kilowatt hour costs 10 (pence, cents, use your own rate) 10kw x 10hrs x 365 days x 10 years x 0.1 (pound, dollar) = 36,500 (£ or $).

Plus, all maintenance. If 50% of this is waste what is happening across all of your pumps?

IF your pumps are, old, wrongly applied (wrong pump for the job), inefficient (most are), worn, incorrectly controlled, too big (most are), not matched to your system (most are not) the figures above just get worse and worse.

Quite literally your unloved pumps are costing the earth.

If you want to do your bit for our planet, let me know.

Get your pumps health checked today!

Unlock the potential of your pump(s) and get them health-checked today!

When leaks occur, this generally means a failure of a component which could lead to the entire system failing, resulting in a costly repair…

Things that leak:

  • Mechanical seals
  • Valve Stems
  • Pipe joints
  • Perished flexible joints
  • Case gaskets
  • Corroded pumps or pipes

In short, anywhere a liquid can escape it will!

Any kind of leak from your system will only get worse until you get it fixed!

Leaks are costly in terms of loss of product, allowing ingress of contaminants and possible escape of dangerous or corrosive fluids.

Leaks can occur from the outset even during construction or initial manufacture or assembly of fluid systems.

Book your health check today.

Catching the drips!

Pressing rape seed oil using batch production, a customer didn’t want the expense of a pump at each press.

Buy one pump, and make it mobile!

The pump, motor and controls were built onto an easily moved trolley so that it could be taken from point to point. Simple!

Think of the money they saved!

If your wallet’s a bit thin, let me know. I might have a way of making your pound, dollar or yen go that much further!

It’s a long way to a sewer!

If your outflow from house or commercial premises is not connected to a mains sewer, you may have a problem.

In very wild and rural areas there may not be an easy answer, with septic tank and local treatment options that still leave a standalone system. However, if you are within sight of a mains, even if it’s up a hill, there are answers aplenty.

Creating tailored solutions suitable for a single household, large housing developments, and industry, is one of the things we do.

If you are feeling disconnected, and want some options, let us know.

Pumps fly, unfortunately Joe can’t…

Even if we can’t fly to Dubai, it doesn’t mean our pumps can’t!

Here’s Joe, one of our workshop engineers, packing a stunning stainless steel multi-stage pump for one of our overseas customer’s.

Unfortunately, we had to tell him that he couldn’t get in the box with it. Sorry Joe!

Wherever you are in the world, you can rely on Joe to pack your pump for you!
