I have been banging on about this since the year 2000.

Buying new pumps is cheap. Running them for 10 years is very expensive.

Example. Take a 10kw pump. Run it for 10 years at 10 hours per day.

And let’s say 1 kilowatt hour costs 10 (pence, cents, use your own rate)
10kw x 10hrs x 365 days x 10 years x 0.1 (pound, dollar) = 36,500 (£ or $).

Plus, all maintenance. If 50% of this is waste what is happening across all of your pumps?

This February we’re celebrating The Year of the Tiger.

The Tiger is known as the King of all beasts in China, and the zodiac sign Tiger symbolises strength, bravery, and exorcising evil.
